Cookie Policy
Version 2026-10-v1 · Last updated: 2 October 2026
In short
- By default, we only use what is essential: storing your choice, protecting forms, keeping the partner-area session and saving your diagnosis draft on your device.
- Statistics (Plausible) are anonymous and use no cookies.
- Google marketing cookies are only switched on if you click ‘Accept all’ or turn them on under ‘Customise’.
- Rejecting is as easy as accepting and does not limit your use of the site.
- You can change your mind at any time with the button below or ‘Cookie preferences’ in the footer.

01What cookies are#
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser to remember something — for example, a choice you made. Similar technologies, such as the browser’s local storage (localStorage), work in a similar way. In this policy we call all of these technologies ‘cookies’.
Under Portuguese Law No. 41/2004 (the e-Privacy Law), we may only store or read information on your device with your consent, unless it is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for. Essential cookies need no consent; all others are only used after you accept them.

03What each category means#
Essential (always on)
Without them the site cannot work as you asked: it could not store your choice, resume the diagnosis, send forms securely or let partners log in. They are not used for advertising or to follow you on other sites.
Statistics (no cookies)
We use Plausible Analytics to count visits and understand which pages are useful. Plausible uses no cookies, does not store full IP addresses or build profiles, and the data stays in the European Union. As it stores nothing on your device and processes no identifiable personal data, it needs no consent.
Marketing (only with consent)
If you accept, we load Google’s tags (Google Ads and Google Analytics 4) to measure whether our ads bring visits and diagnoses. They are off by default and we use Google Consent Mode: until you give permission, no advertising cookies are set. Google may process this data in the United States — see ‘Transfers’ in the Privacy Policy.
04How consent works#
- On your first visit, we show a notice with three equally prominent options: ‘Accept all’, ‘Reject non-essential’ and ‘Customise’.
- Until you choose, only essential cookies work.
- Your choice is stored in the
hp_consentcookie for about 6 months. After that, or if we start using new cookies that need consent, we ask again. - Rejecting does not stop you using any part of the site.
05How to change or withdraw consent#
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it: use the ‘Change cookie preferences’ button at the top of this page or the ‘Cookie preferences’ link in the footer of any page.
When you withdraw consent, we stop loading Google’s tags. Cookies already set expire after the periods shown; if you wish, you can delete them straight away in your browser settings.
06How to block or delete cookies in your browser#
You can also block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings. If you block essential cookies, some features — such as resuming the diagnosis or logging in to the partner area — will stop working. Clearing ‘site data’ also deletes the diagnosis draft kept in localStorage.
To block Google Analytics on all websites, you can install the Google opt-out browser add-on.
07Third-party sites#
When you follow a link to another site — for example, a shop through an affiliate link — that site may set its own cookies under its own policy. We only count the click, without storing anything on your device.
08Changes to this policy#
If we start using new cookies, we will update this list and, if they need consent, ask for your choice again. The current version (2026-10-v1) and the date are at the top of the page. Questions: privacidade@humidade.pt.
