Where do the price ranges come from?

They are the prices observed on Google.pt, cume.pt, Zaask, Habitissimo and in customer reports in October 2026, the same as on the «what it costs» pages. The market is opaque and sites contradict each other, so we use ranges rather than one price.

Does a price above the range mean I'm being cheated?

Not necessarily. Thick stone walls, difficult access, treating both faces of the wall or including plaster and paint all make the job dearer. It means it's worth asking for the reason in writing and getting a second quote.
