About this kit

The two instruments we use in the diagnosis to tell condensation apart from damp coming through the wall.

How to use

  1. Leave the hygrometer 24 h in the affected room and note the maximum.
  2. Early in the morning, measure the cold wall with the thermometer (corners, near the ceiling, behind furniture).
  3. Enter the readings in humidade.pt's free diagnosis — we calculate the dew point for you.

If the wall is below the dew point it's almost certainly condensation — and the fix rarely involves expensive building work.
